Would you like to increase the use of primary sources in your teaching? Are you interested in developing assignments that effectively use archival material? Are you looking for new ways to stimulate critical thinking?
In this hands-on workshop for faculty in the humanities and social sciences, presenters will:
• discuss strategies for developing teaching material that use primary sources
• explore a set of documents from the UH archives and special collections
• discuss strategies for building in-class, research and writing assignments around archival material
