Office of Judicial Affairs: Shining a Light on Student Conduct
An Overview of the Student Conduct Code and the Academic Grievance Procedures

Anchored by theoretical and philosophical approaches of adult development and education, the Office of Judicial Affairs is committed to ensuring the rights and upholding the responsibilities of students to create a safe and welcoming campus learning environment.

This presentation will offer an overview of the Student Conduct Code and procedures for faculty and staff to have a greater understanding of the expectations of students in the UH-Manoa community.  Presentation will also include an overview of the Academic Grievance Procedures and tips for faculty who may be involved in the process in their future.  Aiming to de-mystify our office, please join us to learn more about these two important policies at the University.

• Overview of the Student Conduct Code and procedures - how OJA and the SCC helps to guide student behavior on campus
• Academic Grievance Procedure - it’s not scary, we promise!  Learn the process and some helpful tips to consider in case you are engaged in the procedure.
