Got Data? Using Excel for Basic Data Visualization

Have you ever wanted to turn your collected data into visual illustrations, but you're not sure how? Are you interested in graphing or charting data to identify data trends? This 50-minute Tech Clinic will guide participants step by step through creating a variety of different charts using Excel. Participants will be provided with an Excel file containing a set of data to use for following the steps during the workshop.

This introductory session will provide a brief description, example and step by step ‘how to create’ for each of the following:

• Bar chart

• Line chart

• Pie chart

• Scatter chart

Tech Thursdays is a beginner’s series covering a variety of technology related tools for the classroom and other professional uses.


BYOD: Bring your own device or share with a colleague
Limited laptops will be available for sharing.
